Palmiet Nature Reserve Hike

Come join us for an adventure filled easy hike at Palmiet Nature Reserve!

Time: 12.45pm for 1pm

Place: Palmiet Nature Reserve carpark

Distance: appr. 8-10km (there and back)

Duration: 3-4 hours

Difficulty:

Regular hiker: Grade 2

Casual Hiker: Grade 2.5

Cost: R149pp (includes private guiding, donation to the reserve, lots of excitement and adventure, awesome pictures and videos)

What to bring: Water/cold drink. trail snacks. backpack. shoes with good grip (no flat shoes allowed!)

Hiking stick is highly recommended (they are available for purchase at R200 each)

Please note that this event is going ahead whether it rains or shines and will only be cancelled/postponed under extreme conditions (extreme heat/cold, hail or heavy rain). Bring a rain coat. a little bit of rain wont hurt anyone! and the bugs will stay away. ;-)

Please also note that we need min 20 confirmed bookings to go ahead with this event.. If quota is not met, event will be cancelled and refund will be processed.

Grading Of Hikes:

Grade 1 Easy. Minimal fitness required

Grade 2 Not too strenuous. Moderate fitness

Grade 3 Moderate. Physical fitness advisable

Grade 4 Strenuous. Physical fitness essential

Grade 5 Very strenuous - high level of physical fitness essential
