ABOUT
The Obs-cene Film Festival was created as a collaborative and Observatory based film festival designed to help those desperate to get eyes onto their films. We know how hard filmmaking can be so we want to create a space where cinematic hard work can get the flowers it deserves while also showcasing the amazing and irreverent beauty of Observatory, Cape Town in the heart of the suburb. This festival is not only about the great films that will be on display but also to celebrate and support many local art and food vendors that will be present during the festival and connecting with the community and filmmakers at large.
So come join us for the second iteration of this great festival with a fantastic selection of independent/student films for your enjoyment amongst some amazing company for an unforgettable evening all for the love and growth of film.
