Johannesburg Opera presents the Verdi Concert.
In this concert, we will celebrate one of the most successful Opera composers till today. Giuseppe Verdi dominated the opera scene after the era of Gioachino Rossini, Vincenzo Bellini, and Gaetano Donizetti, whose works significantly influenced him. He is regarded as one of the most influential opera composers of all time and still to date one of the most popular and most performed of opera composers.
Verdi Concert is a concert capturing the breadth of Verdi’s output and showcase the grandeur, drama, and emotional intensity that Verdi infused into his music.
