ABOUT
The Cape Town Camerata is one of the city's premier choral ensembles specializing in a cappella music. They depart on 24 October on a tour to Spain and these two concerts give their local supporters the opportunity to experience their full tour repertoire.
The programme includes music by Tomas De Victoria, Eriks Esenvalds, Crt Voglar and Arnold van Wyk. They will sing two beautiful Basque songs and end the programme with a number of stunning traditional South African pieces. A highlight of the programme for the choir members is a setting of "Precious Lord" by Arnold Sevier.
The concerts will be recorded for a planned album to be released later this year. We ask that families that plan on attending be mindful of that when considering bringing very young children.
