In 2019, Mr. Christian Bless, the Founding Principal and CEO of Solola Bien Real Talk (SBRT), recognized a significant gap in the Congolese entertainment industry. He noticed a growing disparity between Congolese culture and the perspectives of many young Congolese diaspora members, yet nobody was addressing this issue. Motivated by a desire to bridge this divide, SBRT emerged as a platform for open and honest conversations, specifically aiming to explore controversial, taboo, and potentially difficult topics among Congolese youth.
Despite the differing outlooks on business, family, and life, SBRT's goal is to encourage the younger Congolese generation to embrace cultural values, critically analyze conventions, and evolve their way of thinking for personal and community growth. In 2022, Solola Bien held its inaugural Solola Bien Live event in London, which attracted over 200 attendees. This year, Solola Bien is taking a further step towards its goal of changing the mentality of the Congolese diaspora by hosting Solola Bien Live Show in Cape Town where you can expect fun, laughter, entertainment and a vibrant atmosphere of Congolese people.
To conclude the year with a bang, Solola Bien is planning a European tour, consisting of three events across three European countries: France, Belgium, and Cologne. This tour aims to solidify Solola Bien's position as the most impactful show in the Congolese diaspora. The team behind Solola Bien would like to invite you to be a part of this journey.
