SAMA-nominated singer-songwriter and producer Laurie Levine will be performing a solo set at the Commons to celebrate Women's month in August. She will be stripping her songs down to their bare bones, inviting listeners to dream, get lost in and be carried away by a lush and introspective world of electric guitar, voice and reverb. Dark at times and pierced with a sublime beauty, her songs reverberate and shimmer with otherworldly elegance and a hypnotic delicacy. Laurie will be bringing to life old and new songs as well as songs that have slipped between the cracks.
