Buhlebendalo has made an incredible mark as a solo Artist. After being called to perform at Johannesburg Film festival 2022, her storytelling took flight and opened doors to major productions like Shaka Ilembe were she wrote a score title ‘Ilembe’ in 2023. 

One of her recent highlights was performing at the prestigious Standard Bank Joy of Jazz Festival 2023, sharing the stage with South Africa's pride - Simphiwe Dana, S’java, Samthing Soweto and others. 

Her recent performance at the Queertopia Festival at Constitution Hill Buhlebendalo shared a stage with Thandiswa Mazwai and the Brother moves on. These moments lead to a new era of live performance for the artist… 

It’s exactly 4 years after Buhlebendalo released her debut album Chosi, she has curated a full circle inspired performance taking place on the eve of Women’s Day to be held at Jozi’s favourite - Untitled Basement. Come and experience ‘Chosi’ like you’ve never before.
