Septober Energy: Izingane Zom'sindo
An 8-hour 8 DJ all-night special style party inspired by vintage traditional South African music, black 70’s and 80’s club and dance culture, black consciousness, and black joy. Together the collectives invite seasoned vinyl selectors, DJs, collectors, listeners, writers, artists, and musicians to come and play a selection of their rarest and most obscure records. The night encourages musical experimentation and obscurity.
A visual representation of references, inspiration, and artwork presented in a limited 8-page zine compiled by us will be gifted to the first 50 ticket holders and will be available for purchase thereafter. .
