Women's day with Thandi Gqiba

ABOUT

Thandi Gqiba is a Soul Singer Born and bred in Cape Town, KwaLanga. Western Cape, ThandiG discovered her singing talent at a very young age and started singing and dancing in a Marimba Group called Heshoo Beshoo she has travelled around doing what she loves and this resulted in being a cofounder of Jika Marimba with her peers in the community.

Thandi's love for music comes from her home and her own musical community where music was used as a form of communication. Langa is a very rich musical community, one of her mentors, Mam Ncediwe Sylvia Mdunyelwa, her house is where Thandi used to rehearse with Heshoo Beshoo.

ThandiG, as she goes by has performed with various Artists in the music industry and her highlight in her music career was recording with her brother Ringo Madlingozi on his first Ringo Live1 DVD in 2004. She has been performing all around Cape Town doing corporate gigs and she is now hosting her own 2 days 40th Birthday Celebration to celebrate Life. This will be carried out through music which is her first love.

Doors open at 6pm and show starts at 8pm.
