ABOUT
The KZN Youth Orchestra will be performing at Highbury Preparatory School, Centenary Hall on Friday, 30 August, 18h00 to 19h30.
The concert will be an exciting one featuring the KZN Youth Orchestra, as well as the Highbury Djembe Drummers and Senior Primary Choir.
The KZNYO comprises 60 young musicians from all around KZN province. Their repertoire encompasses a variety of genres spanning the Baroque, Classic and Romantic periods, musicals and movies as well as contemporary popular music - included in the programme are selections from ‘Swan Lake’, ‘Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves’, ‘Les Miserable’, and ‘Micasa’, and the ever popular ‘Sweet Caroline’ to name but a few.
The concert is excellent family entertainment!
Tickets are R100 for adults, R80 for pensioners and scholars are free.

Conducted by Lyk Temmingh and presented by Cathy Peacock, the concert will send you dancing into spring with a tune in your hearts. Come and support the youngsters and be enthralled by their orchestral delights.
