PLEASE NOTE: If you would like to attend both the Friday and Saturday Auction Sessions, please book on of our COMBO package tickets.
All the wines that will be going under the hammer will be offered on the Friday, as well as on the Saturday auction sessions. This Virtual Live Auction will be held at the Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West and hosted by Strauss & Co, South Africa’s leading art and wine auction house.
This entry ticket to the Auction entitles you to delicious snacks and bowl foods, and wines from the members of the Cape Winemakers Guild throughout the Friday Auction session. Should you wish to bid on the Auction, you will need to register in advance.
There will be an informal (walk around) tasting of all the Auction wines during the Auction, and as samples are limited, they are subject to availability.
To bid on the Auction you first need to have a Bidder's Account with Strauss & Co. If you do not have one yet, please create your Bidder's Account by clicking HERE.
Once you have a Bidder's Account set up with Strauss & Co, you must register to bid on the 2024 Nedbank Cape Winemakers Guild Auction on the Strauss & Co Website from Wednesday, 21 August and before Wednesday, 3 October 2024. You only need to register once to bid on the Friday and Saturday sessions.
PLEASE NOTE: This ticket is for the Friday Auction Session only. If you would like to attend the Final Pre-Auction Tasting on the morning of Friday, 4 October 2024 from 09:30 to 12:30 in the Grand Ballroom at the Lord Charles Hotel, you will need to purchase a ticket.
