DNA Café is searching for the next big star in stand-up comedy!

Introducing: DNA Café’s Stand-up Comedy Showdown!

Round 2 will feature half of the Top 10 winners of the competition from Round 1.

Audience and Judges votes determine which 2 comedians advance on to the Semi- Finals! 

Competition Rounds:

- Round 1: August 2, 2024

- Round 2: August 16, 2024

- Round 3: August 23, 2024

- (Semi-final) Round 4: August 30, 2024

- (Finals) Round 5: September 6, 2024

In the finals, only three will remain. But there can only be one winner!

The winner will receive:

- R4000 cash prize!

- PR bundle including:

 - Radio/ Podcast interview on Cape Flats Stories (Over 400K followers) 

 - Newspaper/online article (TBC)

 - Professional photoshoot valued at R2, 700

Round 2 Details:

- Date: August 16, 2024

- Showtime: 8:00 PM

- Doors Open: 6:00 PM
