Join us for an intimate night of beautiful original solo piano music, written and performed by Pringle Bay local, Etienne de Villiers. Etienne will, for the first time, perform the compositions from his upcoming debut album, Inversion, and provide exclusive insights into the creative process and story behind his music.

Etienne de Villiers is a pianist from South Africa. His solo piano pieces follow the neoclassical style, searching for beauty and meaning through melodies and harmonies that are unfettered and uncomplicated.
In 2019, at the age of 38, he decided to learn the piano. A few years later, his wife of 17 years passed away. As a way to cope with the grief, he turned to the piano and started writing songs for the first time. These songs, although born from grief, are not songs of grief, but therapy through the expression of music.
Now, motivated by friends and family, he has gathered the courage to release these songs to the public.
A buffet supper will be served before the performance. Please bring your own wine.
