Carlo has appeared in a variety of studio and live settings, performing and/or recording with artists such as The Cape Jazz Ensemble, Thandi Klaasen, Ezra Ngcukana, Sathima Sea Benjamin, Sylvia Mdunyelwa, Errol Dyers, Robbie Jansen, Tete Mbambisa’s Big Sound, George Werner, Peter Ndlala, Hilton Schilder, Steve Newman, Ernerstine Deane, Mervin Afrika, Derrick Schippers, Mark Goliath, Erika Lundi and the Solms-Delta Music Trust Ensemble’s to name just a few.

To date, he recently recorded with Charles Louw (Where do we go from here? - 2024), German Tour with the Soest Musik School - 2023, the Hilton Schilder Goema Club Album - 2021, Performed at the CJIJF with Mervin Afrika, toured the USA with the hit musical, Makeba, (Paying tribute to the late great Miriam Makeba).

The “FNF” (Dylin Fine, Peter Ndlala & Carlo Fabe) Pulse Trio came about with the three of us working together on several projects in and around the city as side men. Because of our chemistry and love for the PULSE, we create a live experience that transports the audience into the 5th Dimension. The Band Features Dylin Fine on Electric Guitar, Peter Ndlala on Electric Bass and Carlo Fabe on Drums and Effects.
