Some say they were manifested through the lonely whimperings of indie men and women across the continent.

Some say they originated as an elaborate tax evasion scheme that went way too far.

Some simply saw them appear out of the Evol bathroom stall, instruments in hand, unable to remember their names or where they had been. 

All we know is that they’re on track to Intrude your Thoughts this Friday the 13th. Come along and let loose to their sophomore show as they provide their most punchy and raucous set to date.

Operation Khataza

Operation Khataza, a seven piece band led by the enigmatic FARRAH KHATAZA, a mystical character brought to life by Sanele Blaai, accompanied by Jarryd Alexander (Bass), Timothy Fortes(drums), Benji Anstey(guitar), Mariana Del Carmen(Vocals), Lois Flandorp (Vocals) and Fabian Selote (spoken word).

The band's unique sound is a captivating blend of sonics from across Africa. This music transcends boundaries, speaks to the African child on Love, waking from our sleep and slumber, an awareness of self! A conscious vibration by the African youth for Africa home and abroad. This band never ceases to deliver a profound and soul-stirring experience.

Kayla the Crow

Kayla the Crow sounds like Americana Psych Rock from 1969. She is a singer / songwriter from Cape Town and in the process of recording her first album. Some people have compared her to the likes of TREX , Fleetwood Mac ,Crosby, Stills , Nash and Young.

GAZE

Consisting of Lauren Thomas (vocals), Regie Pienaar (guitar), Desmond Kannemeyer (guitar), Dan Charles (bass) and Bradley Croome (drums) - GAZE is a Cape Town-based band that merges the angst and intensity of ’90s alt-rock with the lush soundscapes and nostalgia-soaked sensibilities of dream-pop and shoegaze. GAZE writes songs with the intention of conjuring a cinematic and cathartic experience for anyone that wishes to soothe and explore their existential dread with them while reflecting on lost love and sharing moments of bliss with the people that you care about.

Emo Night

With Emo Night, it was never a phase. They've been keeping the emo flame alive since 2016. Get ready to sing, dance, and relive your angsty teenage years. The domineering duo of mwmwpwr will be representing Emo Night with edgy angst and feminine rage.
