ABOUT

Claire, Andrew & Russel formed their Trio in January 2023. The 3 musicians have had long-standing musical collaboration histories that span the last 2 decades, performing together as part of some of the same corporate and creative bands alongside other musicians, as well as in 2 separate duos (Claire/Andrew and Claire/Russel).

It was only towards the end of 2022, when they performed their first show together as a 3-piece band, that something really “clicked” for them and they realized that the 3 of them could really do something very special together, and so they decided to officially form their trio and start working on shows and projects of their own, as a collective. They share a passion for performing music that allows them to explore their creativity and really connect with their audiences. Andrew’s unique and very melodious style of bass playing, which often leads to his bass being the only melodic instrument in a song, allows the band to create very unique renditions of much loved songs and add something really special to each performance. Russel and Claire’s vocal ability to blend perfectly in harmony together and perform all the songs with heart-felt sincerity, evokes profound emotion within the music.   

The band prides themselves on presenting well rehearsed, yet spontaneous performances, honoring the music they’re performing, but also adding their own unique spin on their reworked renditions.
