Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of choir music featuring three incredible children’s choirs of South Africa. Presenting Bloemfontein, Tygerberg and Cape Town Children’s Choirs in Song.

The Bloemfontein Children’s Choir (BCC) was established 36 years ago to be a shining beacon of quality children’s choral music and has been home to many children throughout the years. The Choir has performed on world, national, and local stages. In 2020, the choir appointed Werner Stander as Director of Music and continued an exciting path toward the future.

The Tygerberg Children's Choir is celebrating its 52nd birthday this year. Karina Erasmus took over from Hendrik D Loock in 2019 after his retirement. Madri Gerber, alumni member of the choir and the daughter of Karina Erasmus, is the accompanist of the choir.

The choir regularly performs with great success and is one of South Africa's proudest export products. The choir has won several major international choir competitions. The choir is known for their unequated legato sound, maturity of sound, musical power and dynamic interpretation of extremely difficult works. The Tygerberg Children’s Choir is a leading exponent in the world of international choir competitions.

Cape Town Children's Choir enables young singers to develop their musical skill in a positive, stimulating environment and provides a place where they are surrounded by musically talented friends who strive for excellence.
