Born in Rondebosch in 1973, Ndlala’s bass guitar is celebrated for its rich, lead guitar-like presence, delivering powerful and emotive performances that captivate audiences.
Ndlala’s musical journey began with M.A.P.P. (Music, Action for People’s Progress) and gained momentum through collaborations with South African jazz greats like Winston Mankunku Ngozi and international stars like Rashaan Patterson. His unique style blends Afro music with jazz fusion, marked by rich improvisation and dynamic performances.
Currently a session musician and jam session host at the Touch of Madness, Ndlala’s latest album, Beira, showcases his innovative vision.
