ABOUT

It’s 1924.

It’s the ‘Roaring Twenties’ again.

And you are invited to an evening of song, music, and dance at Harry’s – your new local speakeasy.

Continuing on from the success of our ‘Night in Sophiatown’ evenings last year, we are delighted that this term, the School of Music at Clifton will be presenting another exciting, innovative performance experience for our Senior Prep and College parents and boys, in another iteration of our annual musical supper theatre. This year’s 'A Night at the Speakeasy’ is a tribute to the vibrancy of era that still echoes through the ages. You will be entertained with the sights and sounds of the Charleston, some jazz, and so much more.

The format is ‘barnyard’, so seating is at tables and guests will need to bring their own food and refreshments.

We are also encouraging guests to dress the part - think tassles and feathers for women, and suspenders and slouch caps for men. There will be prizes for the 'Best Dressed'!
