ABOUT

Join us at KAYA Café for a digital art workshop with Illustrator, Creative & Digital Artist, Daniëlle Botha - also known as The Oddi Dee!

The OddiDee

I'm an idiosyncratic individual, slightly strange, slightly off beat. I live through my art, it offers a loud, sexy and satisfying escape from the monotonous background noise of everyday life. It’s usually in response to something that’s happened in my personal life and screams when I'm angry (in a way that doesn't bother my neighbours), is seductive when I'm feeling vibes, and it's drained and tired and sarcastic when I’ve had a long day. But most of all, it's mine. The majority of my works are visual representations of being unapologetically and loudly yourself. They're drawings and as such they have no shame, no guilt, no anxiety about what other people think of them. I often imagine it's the kind of drawings your dad would look at and go "everything is art these days!".
