About Ncedeka

?Ncedeka Gcelu, born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, from a famous township called khayelitsha. Ncedeka is a lyrics composer, 

singer; performer and a graduate of the inaugural music business masterclass, an initiative by SAMRO in collaboration with The academy of sound engineering. Her music encompasses a variety of sounds infused, a sound that complements her soulful voice. The essence of her writing is inspired by human Experience and her writing carries a positive message out of anything she experiences. 

Ncedeka is an independent artist whose career started from joining community choir, church choir and later auditioned and made it to on a national choir competition Clash of the choirs season 2, Team Ziyon in 2014 and has since built her way up independently, with more TV appearance on Expresso morning show, eNCA, Cape town TV , radio interview and music airplay on umhlobo wenene. She has performed on festivals like Acapella music festival hosted by the Artscape theatre 2023 and 2024. 

Beyond her personal career she invests her experience to the young future performers in a organisation called Artworks, she is a vocal director, a talent scout, hosts workshops, and grooms the young artists and instills self development and confidence.
