Join our craft circle!
Craft Night gets creative people in the city together to make stuff in a laid-back, fun and judgement-free space.
Everyone is welcome; from seasoned makers to absolute beginners.
This week, we're meeting at The Ladder on Bree Street.
Bring your embroidery kit/clay toolbox/Copic markers/sewing machine/whatever creative thing you’re working on and join us at at 6 pm. The circle is open on the first and second Wednesday of every month and there is no commitment required; join us whenever you feel like it!
Your ticket includes a hot drink and an evening of uninterrupted crafting bliss.
Craft circles are hosted by Andie Reeves, teacher, textile artist and owner of the Cape Town Craft Club
Join us to:
- meet other cool people who craft
- commit to making time for yourself to be creative
- make new friends in a low-stakes environment
- spend time with your friends in a new, fun way
- get guidance or input on a creative project
- work amongst others who inspire and encourage you
- join a community of local makers
- find an artistic outlet
- just spend a few hours doing something creative with your hands
What you'll get
A hot drink and three hours of craft time away from the distractions of home.

Craft Night is a friendly, welcoming space and a great way to meet new people so don't be shy to arrive alone
What to bring
All the materials you'll need to work on the craft project of your choice. The Craft Club has a supply of scissors, needles, crochet hooks, threads, fabrics, and a pattern library of sewing, crochet and embroidery patterns, but please let us know if you'd like to use any of these supplies in advance.
Attendees are also welcome to bring snacks, food, or a bottle of wine, in the name of getting the creative juices flowing.
