ABOUT
August House will be opening its doors to the public on Sunday 29 October 2023
This event will see the Artists Studios at August House being open to the public. This unique opportunity allows guests to truly explore the visual arts and hear directly from the artists. Come and see amazing artworks, meet the artists in their studios and have a wonderful day out. We have something for everyone!!!
The programme of activities includes:
- An interactive kids area (R10 per a child if they participate)
- Over 30 artists for you to meet and see their work
- Food & Beverages on sale
- A shuttle service from underground parking (free of charge)
- Two group exhibitions
- Two solo exhibitions
Tickets can be purchased on the day but will be more expensive at the door.
Free parking will be available at Access City (located here) with a shuttle bus running to August House and back again every 15-20 minutes. There is no parking available within August House. Tickets are R30 for adults and children under the age of 15 are free.
Please note that kid's tickets will be sold at the venue (at the entrance)
