ABOUT
Bring your mountain bikes and join us on our monthly night ride through the tranquil Kyalami agricultural holdings and surrounding areas.
The ride will start at 18:00 from Kyalami Equestrian Park (KEP) and end at the same location. The route will be between 15 and 20km's and will not be technical and suitable for all riders. Security and sweep vehicles will be provided by Midrand Sector 4 CPF members to assist in the event of a break down or if you find the excitement just a bit too much!
Please note, all riders will start at the same time so please ensure that you are on time and ready to ride at 18:00.
The Beer Race
To celebrate the start of spring, we will also have a "Beer Race" after the night ride! Starting from the parking lot, those who wish to participate, will race to the main gate of KEP on Dahlia road, get a beer and finish it as quickly as possible and race back to the parking lot. Whether you win the race or not, you cannot loose since you still get a beer along the way. The winner will receive a small prize. This race will only be open to adults.
Important Information
- Tickets are ONLY available on Quicket.
- Children under 18 ride for free.
- All riders must wear a helmet.
- Ensure that your mountain bike is in working condition and that you have a working light on your bike.
- Entry fee does not include food or drinks from TLC@KEP.
- You should be able to complete a 20km ride with an average speed of 18km/h.
- We will endeavor to host a Kyalami Night Ride on the last Wednesday of every month, so add these dates to your calendar in the meantime.
- All proceeds will be going to KEROA and the Midrand Sector 4 CPF to help uplift our neighbourhood.
