Join us for a midweek hike at Taroko Trails in Modderfontein Nature Reserve.

The spotless beauty of the South African terrain is put on a display of the prettiest sort at the Modderfontein Nature Reserve, which is only a short drive from Johannesburg’s city Centre and the OR Tambo International Airport. While any visit to the reserve is well worth it, it really does promise something special when tackled from the saddle of a bicycle, or with walking / running shoes.

The hiking routes allow you to explore parts of the reserve that are not accessible by car; enjoying the fresh air, sunshine, tweeting birds and the smell of the bush. It also allows you to adjust your pace and meander the trails at a speed that suits you. While there are no major technical areas on any of the routes, the dirt roads and increasing distance provide that extra challenge.
