ABOUT

When we first started using smart devices, we had little understanding of the impact on children, tweens and teens. Now we do.

Join us for "Press Pause, Go Play!" — an unmissable event where you'll learn from the experts, connect with like-minded parents, and be empowered to press pause on smartphones and social media for kids within your community.

Through our panel discussion with Emma Sadleir (The Digital Law Co.) and Kate Farina (Be in Touch), we'll discover the latest evidence on the effects of too much tech on kids, the global tipping point taking place, and what parents can do to shift societal norms in their communities.

We’ll share practical solutions in a supportive atmosphere, with interactive stands and delicious food. You’ll leave feeling inspired, hopeful and equipped to make collective change with other parents in your community. Plus, The Book Lounge will have hard-to-find copies of Dr Jonathan Haidt's "The Anxious Generation" available, with awesome prizes from Instax, Lego from Kiddiwinks, shoes from Common Tread, tickets to The Bike Park, tickets to Rush, and more!
