Full Moon Hike
Sun Dec 15, 18:30 - Sun Dec 15, 21:00
Intaka Island
ABOUT
Experiencing a Full Moon Hike on Intaka Island is a magical adventure that combines nature’s beauty with the serenity of night. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with nature in a tranquil, moonlit setting.
The Centre for Astronomical Heritage (CfAH) has identified a concept for each Full Moon to honour South Africa’s rich heritage, and this month we experience the enchantment of the Springbok Moon. We celebrate one of South Africa’s most magnificent antelopes and pay homage to the Cape Grysbok which once resided at Intaka Island. The Springbok is our National Animal and the emblem of the national rugby team, celebrate by wearing your Springbok tees!
