Open your mind, open your ears and come experience Afrikaans music that transcends the language & cultural barriers in a way only the arts can. Alternative Afrikaans group, VOLK, is bringing their fresh and unapologetic sound to the coolest intimate club venue in all of Cape Town on Friday 25 October 2024. Surfa Rosa. Those who witnessed the first time VOLK played at this venue in March will testify to a night of intense interaction between the band and the audience that only intimate venues such at Surfa Rosa can provide. On the back of multiple releases this year such as "Baby Fourie", "My Hart Is 'n Trein", "Nou's Ek Blind" and two band new singles "ZAR" (out 27 September) & "BONS" (October release date TBA) this show on Friday 25 October will be aiming to close off a strong year for the band.
