PHfat

PHFAT is a South African rapper. His sound combines Hip Hop, 2000s Pop, Glitch

Hop and RnB. He is a mainstay on South African festival stages and has had

music in regular rotation on South African commercial radio since 2014. He has a

strong grass roots following in South Africa and is amongst the busiest live acts

in the country. He has had several successful tours to Australia, Europe and the

UK. On South African Soil he has opened for (amongst others) Public Enemy,

MGMT, Milky Chance, Casey Veggies, The Cat Empire, The Used, Crystal Fighters,

Crystal Castles and the Presets. 2019 sees the release of his EP “sex | love |

heartbreak’ his most stylistically varied work yet. He refers to the title as “The

shortest possible love story that I could come up with”.
