Local is Global (LIG) is the brainchild of multi-award-winning Cape

Flats performing artist and rapper, Jitsvinger, who brings vivid

wordplay, heady melodies and Boom Bap rap drenched Afrikaaps music to

stages across the country and the globe. Having dazzled audiences from

Arniston to Amsterdam. Jits’s passion for the culture and love for

community accents everything he touched and Local is Global (LIG) serves

as tribute and testament to how the arts can transcend local stages to

create impactful change on a global stage.
