ABOUT
We’re on a mission to reduce food waste, tackle food insecurity and make a positive contribution towards climate change by producing pasta out of bread waste and inspiring local, sustainable food repurposing solutions in Cape Town. We're want to show how cool food waste is and we want to raise money for charity at the same time.
Join us for a delightful dinner where we enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, all made with apparent "food waste". It will be sure to tickle your taste buds and trigger your mind into dreaming of the world we could be living in.
What's on the menu you say?
1st Course - Appetizer:
- Spent beer grain bread with Amasi Cheese, carrot top pesto and sweet chilli sauce.
2nd Course - Pasta:
- Bread waste pasta served with a choice of 2 sauces:
Creamed spinach, roast butternut & basil
Puttanesca Sauce - Tomato, red chili & olives
3rd Course - Dessert:
- Mediterranean orange, almond & sourdough cake
OR
- Spent coffee infused brownies with chocolate sauce

Cost: R160 (Includes all food and 1/3 of this will go to charity)
