ABOUT

Celebrate Spring at Yescas Teahouse and enjoy a delicious 5-course foraged feast plant-based Asian-inspired dinner designed around foraged seaweed and wild plants with RE Wild Food.

This event introduces you to local edible seaweeds and indigenous wild plants prepared in exciting and creative ways that promotes the sustainable use of edible indigenous plants and incorporates edible seaweeds, wild plants and organic produce.

Seaweed is highly nutritious and mineral dense macro algae, a good plant source of calcium, vitamins A - K, iron, iodine, and one of the few vegetable sources of vitamin B12.

You’ll learn about the edible seaweeds and indigenous wild plants of our local eco-system, how to harvest them sustainably and some preparation tips from RE Wild Founder - Lindy in her talk before dinner.

If you’ve always dreamed of a back-to-nature foraging lifestyle but weren’t sure how, this event is exactly the motivation you need.
