The Katemba Trio is a collaborative force of three talented musicians, each bringing their own flair to the vibrant sounds of Cape Jazz! With piano virtuoso Blake Hellaby, renowned for his teaching at UCT and his mastery of jazz keys, the band is set to ignite stages with their infectious energy. Adding depth to the ensemble is bassist Schalk Joubert, celebrated for his fusion of West African Grooves with the soulful essence of Cape Jazz, and drummer Pascal Haas from Germany, bringing his international jazz experience to the South African stage.
