Fun ride through the Baakens Valley!

The annual FatTracks Baakens Bash will kick off on Sunday, 6 October!

This year we’re doing things a little differently.

Instead of an official race, we’re inviting ALL members – from newbies to veterans and everyone in between to participate in a fun ride through the valley.

R70 gets you entry into the lucky draws, plus participation in a fun ride of your choice.

Funds go towards annual maintenance of the trails, as well as support of our valley neighbour, Aurora Special Care centre.

There will also be food stalls and crafts from the Love Locally Market.

Fat Tracks Mountain Bike Club has been hard at work building, maintaining, and restoring the tracks in Gqeberha’s Baakens Valley.

Now it’s time to put them to the test.

Bring the family and enjoy one of the most accessible, fun, and family-friendly MTB fun rides in the country.

There are three fun ride distances, catering for complete newbies to the seasoned pros.

Entry fee:

Just R70 to participate in the fun ride, and enter the lucky draws!

Riders 12 years and younger to be accompanied by an adult entered into the ride.

Fun ride start times on Sunday 6 October 2024:

   08h45 – 18km E-bikes

   09h00 – 18km MTB

   09h15 – 12km MTB

   09h30 – 4km MTB

   11h30 – Lucky draws (*you must be in attendance to win)

ONLINE ENTRIES CLOSE: Midnight on Wednesday 2 October 2024.

Late entries are available at registration on Sunday from 07h00.
