IMPORTANT: This family adventure be for everyone! Ye don’t need to enter the competition to enjoy the fun. The combo ticket gets ye two thrilling experiences at half price! But if ye fancy a treasure hunt, ye can collect the golden coins and enter for a chance to win.

Treasure Hunt Ticket (combo ticket for both adventures) – ONLY R280 per person – Includes:

A 45-minute cruise on the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat (valued at R300)

Playalot - 1-hour playtime (add-on to combo ticket) - R70 per player, per hour

Coin Quest - Treasure Hunt - All You Need to Know

In Collaboration with Playalot® Indoor Adventure Park and the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat (by Yacoob Yachts)

1. Ticket Sales

• Sales Period: Tickets will be available for purchase on Quicket.com from 1 October 2024 until 15 December 2024
• Redemption Deadline: All tickets (Treasure Hunt combo, add-ons, extras, chaperone/spectator) are valid only for the duration of this campaign and tickets are only redeemable until the campaign closes at 12pm on 15 December 2024.
• Walk-ins: No walk-ins will be accepted at either venue for this promotion. Coin Quest tickets must be purchased through Quicket.com.
• Add-ons & extra tickets: At least one Treasure Hunt combo ticket must be purchased in order to purchase any of the other tickets (add-ons, extras, chaperone/spectator)
• Jolly Roger Cruise Schedule: The final 45-cruise on the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat will depart at 4pm on 15 December 2024.
• Playalot® Playtime Schedule: The last two-hour playtime slot at Playalot® will be from 3pm to 5pm on 15 December 2024.

2. Ticket Redemption

Jolly Roger – By Yacoob Yachts

• Booking Requirement: Reservations for the Jolly Roger are mandatory via email at [email protected] or by calling 021 421 0909, after purchasing your Quicket.com tickets. Subject to availability.
• Minors: Should you purchase a Treasure Hunt combo ticket for a minor, they need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone, of which tickets are available on the same events page.
• Ticket Presentation: Quicket barcode tickets must be presented at reception (printed out or on mobile devices). Yacoob Yachts office at Shop 7, Quay 5, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.
• Boarding Time: Check-in and boarding must occur 15 minutes prior to departure.
• Age Policy: There are no age restrictions for the Jolly Roger. Children aged 0-3 years are granted free entry. Please ensure to ‘purchase’ them a free ticket on Quicket.com.
• Exclusions: Tickets do not include food or beverages on board the Jolly Roger. Cash bar available.
• Weather Policy: All cruises are weather-dependent and may be rescheduled via [email protected] or by calling 021 421 0909 within the campaign dates (1 October & 15 December 2024).
• Expiration: All tickets purchased are only redeemable during the campaign dates (1 October to 15 December 2024) and will completely expire thereafter.

Playalot® Indoor Adventure Park

• Booking Requirement: No pre-booking for playtime at Playalot® is necessary; however, families must have one Playalot® profile, prior to their arrival at the park (www.playalot.co.za – via the ‘Register your family profile’ button).
• Ticket Presentation: Quicket tickets must be presented at reception (printed out or on mobile devices).
• Check-in Time: Check-in occurs every hour on the hour, please try to arrive 10 minutes early.
• Age Policy: There are no age restrictions at Playalot®.
• Minors: If you purchase a Treasure Hunt combo ticket for a minor, they do not need to be accompanied by an adult at to play in the play zones at Playalot®, as our Fun Marshals will supervise the children. However, you are welcome to purchase a playtime ticket to join your child in the activities or a spectator ticket to enter the park. Tickets are available on Quicket or at the Playalot® reception.
• Exclusions: Tickets do not include food or beverages at the ‘Playalot Restaurant & Café’ or the VIP Lounge, nor does it include our Playalot® safety grip socks. Socks can be purchased on Quicket or at the Playalot® reception.

3. Social Media Coin Quest Competition

3.1. How It Works

• Treasure Hunt Competition: Post a photo of your kids or your family to socials, holding a gold coin at one or both venues and stand a chance to win the ultimate treasure (refer to point 3.4)

3.2. How to Enter

• Jolly Roger Coin Collection: For ONE entry - Combo-ticket holders must collect one gold coin, in reception, at the Yacoob Yachts office at Shop 7, Quay 5, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, prior to boarding the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat. With a clearly visible coin, snap your kids or your family on the boat and post it to socials, following all entry rules (refer to point 3.3)
• Playalot Coin Collection: For a SECOND entry - Combo-ticket holders must collect one gold coin At Playalot® inside Haasendal Gables Shopping Centre in Kuils River, prior to entering the park. With a clearly visible coin, snap your kids or your family inside Playalot® and post it to socials, following all entry rules (refer to point 3.3)
• Bonus Entry: Choosing ONE of the venues, you may post a THIRD photo to socials, holding BOTH COINS, following all entry rules (refer to point 3.3)

3.3. Competition Entry Requirements:

• Entry Limit: Entrants may enter, max, three (3) times. One at each venue, with one coin and a 3^rd BONUS ENTRY showcasing both coins (at any venue)
• Post Count: Each post counts as ONE entry.
• Social Media Platforms: Entrants may enter on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok. Please choose ONE platform for all your entries.
• Hashtag Requirement: All entries must include the compulsory hashtag - #CoinQuestTreasureHunt, to ensure that we can locate your entry. No hashtag, no entry.
• Venue Tagging: Both venues must be followed and tagged in all posts, regardless of at which of the two locations the photo was taken.

3.4. Competition Prize for One Winner – The Ultimate Treasure:

3.5. Prize Specifications:

1. Playalot®: 25 Hours of playtime that will be loaded to the winners’ Playalot® profile and can used at their leisure. See terms & conditions below.
2. Jolly Roger - Yacoob Yachts: The Captain Hook Party is for 10 children and two parents. Additional adults are charged R200 each, and additional children are charged R300 each. You can add up to a maximum of 10 additional children – Parties are maxed at 20 children. See terms & conditions below.

3.6. Claims and Reservations:

• Playtime Bookings: No pre-booking for playtime at Playalot® is necessary; however, the winning family must have one Playalot® profile, prior to their arrival at the park (www.playalot.co.za – via the ‘Register your family profile’ button) as the 25-hours prize will be loaded to that profile.
• Party Bookings: The Captain Hook Party must be booked via [email protected] or by calling 021 421 0909.

3.7. Competition Terms and Conditions:

• Eligibility Verification: We reserve the right to verify the identity of the winner before awarding the prize.
• Winner Selection Process: A single winner will be chosen through an online random comment picker, and the result will be final.
• Winner announcement: The winner will be announced by the official Playalot® Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accounts by 12pm on Friday, 20 December 2024 and contacted on the social media platform they used to enter.
• Prize claims: The winner must claim the prize within 24 hours; failure to do so will result in a new winner being selected.
• Eligibility: This competition is open to all South African citizens.
• Entry Requirements: Only entries that follow all rules will be eligible.
• Fraud Prevention: We will never request banking details; please report any fraudulent accounts.
• Cash Exchange: Competition prizes are not exchangeable for cash, but may be gifted.
• Party Validity: The Captain Hook Party is valid for 12 months but cannot be booked during peak season (15 December 2024 – 15 January 2025).
• Playtime Validity: The 25-hour playtime bundle will be loaded onto the winner's Playalot® profile and will be valid for 3 years from 20 December 2024. This playtime bundle excludes compulsory safety grip socks.

4. General Terms & Conditions

• Boat Rules: Visitors to the Jolly Roger must follow the general terms of the boat – available on https://bit.ly/JollyRogerTerms
• Adventure Park Rules: Visitors to Playalot® must follow the rules available at the bottom of www.playalot.co.za.
• Purchase Platform: No walk-ins allowed. All tickets must be purchased via Quicket.com.
• Ticket Exclusions: All tickets exclude food and beverages at both Playalot® and the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat.
• Sock Policy: Compulsory Playalot® safety grip socks are not included in the ticket price and can be purchased as an add-on during the ticket purchasing process on Quicket or at Playalot’s reception. No other grip socks are allowed to be used.
• Spectator Access: Spectator tickets are not included in the combo ticket price and can be purchased as an add-on during the ticket purchasing process on Quicket or at Playalot’s reception.
• Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for either venue.
• Staff Eligibility: Employees of Playalot® and the Jolly Roger Pirate Ship are ineligible to enter the social media competition but may purchase tickets.
• Usage Restrictions: Playtime tickets may not be used for a party at Playalot®.
• Operational Days: 

- Playalot® is open daily, except on 25 December & 1 January. See Google for current trading hours.

- The Jolly Roger is open daily and weather-dependent. See Google for current trading hours.

5. Liability

• Limitation of Liability: Playalot® and the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat (Yacoob Yachts) accept no liability for losses, injuries, or damages incurred by participants during the competition or after winning a prize.
• Data Sharing: Ticket holder details will be shared with a third party (Yacoob Yachts) for redemption and auditing purposes only. Your details will not be shared with any other party.
• Compliance: Participants must comply with health and safety regulations at both venues.
• Consent: By submitting photo entries, participants consent to Playalot® and the Jolly Roger Pirate Boat reposting content related to the campaign, including images featuring minors.
• Publication Rights: Participants agree to allow the publication of their name, image, and related content on Playalot’s® and Jolly Roger's promotional channels.
• Disqualification: Participants found to have breached any rules will be disqualified from the competition.
