The YD Co-Lab Summit 2024, scheduled for Friday, 18 October 2024, is a pivotal one-day event aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and practical solutions for the youth development sector in South Africa. The summit is a key initiative of YD Co-Lab, a collective of youth development organizations and social impact partners that work to strengthen the youth development ecosystem in the country.
Founded in 2020, YD Co-Lab has grown into a thriving network of over 70 member organizations. It was established in response to the realization that fragmented efforts and isolated approaches were limiting the effectiveness of youth development initiatives. YD Co-Lab believes that collaboration across sectors—government, civil society, academia, and the private sector—is essential to create sustainable, impactful change for South Africa's youth.
The YD Co-Lab Summit is the embodiment of this belief.
