Join us for an enchanting candlelight solo cello performance by Rosamund Ender at the Museum of Dogs on 26 October 2024 at 19:00. This intimate 30-minute concert offers a unique blend of music and atmosphere, set within the captivating surroundings of the museum.


Your ticket includes entrance to the museum and a complimentary glass of wine to enhance the evening. The museum will be open from 18:00, to explore prior to the performance.


After the performance, indulge in dinner at Carne, conveniently located opposite the museum.


About the Performer:

Cellist Rosamund Ender, who joined the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra in July 2022, was born in Pretoria into a musical and artistic family, and started her musical education at the age of three.


Her studies took her to Stellenbosch University, where she studied cello under Magdalena Roux. She also studied Latin and English literature at the University of Stellenbosch but chose the cello.


She later followed the cello to Switzerland, where she studied under renowned cellist Roel Dieltiens at the University of the Arts in Zürich. After completing her studies she was active in Switzerland both as a teacher and a performer. Between 2016 and 2022 she played in the Zürcher Kammerphilharmonie, where she was later appointed co-principal cello.
