One Missed Call: A Drag King Horror Spectacle

For this latest Bloom Good production the King’s Collab and veteran burlesque dancers from the Rouge Revue Burlesque company and BB Productions are set to present a show unlike anything we have done before.

We have a story to share with you. 

One of terror, fright and plenty of delight.  

A group of fierce friends gather, preparing to take the night by storm, beards snatched, corsets tightened, drinks in hand. The Venue? An isolated clearing in Newlands Forest - perfect for the wildest solstice party. But as the glitter and fake moustaches are applied something feels off...

Their friend Barry is late...again. Calls go unanswered. Texts left on read. They shrug it off. "Barry's always late, he'll meet us there", they laugh nervously, leaving a lipstick stained note for him on the door before heading out.

But as the moon rises high, and they descend into the night, whispers of a shadow lurks behind...

Was it just the wind? Or is something - or someone - following theme?

One things for sure: not everyone will make it to the party tonight...
