What more can be said of Tom Petty? Rebel, rock n’ roller, 80s superstar, hopeless romantic, heartbreaker, bluesman, and folk troubadour. 

From Petty's early years out of Gainesville with Mudcrutch to his 70's breakthrough with the heartbreakers and throughout his incredible career he refused to back down and bow down to record labels or trends, always staying true to his musical vision for over 30 years. His untimely death in 2017 has fuelled renewed interest in his music from analogue veterans and phone-obsessed millennials alike.

Lightning Productions is proud to present Full Moon Fever, a journey through Petty’s catalogue with a few surprises thrown in. Some of South Africa’s most seasoned musicians will pay homage to Petty and honour his life and music the only way they know how...

• If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies - just drop us an email to [email protected] and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
