Nestled within the uniquely diverse fynbos flora of the Cape Point area, 10 months into its recovery after a devastating wildfire swept through the landscape, this guided walk offers an opportunity to delve into the fascinating relationship between fynbos and fire, discover the region's geology, history, and explore springtime blooms and wild flavours that are slowly returning to the land. With Rupert's deep knowledge of the indigenous and endemic plant species, you’ll gain a fresh ecological perspective on the fynbos that inspires our Veld and Sea experiences and menus.
