ABOUT
The Hillcrest High School Open Day provides parents, guardians, and prospective learners with an opportunity to tour the school campus, find out more about the academic, sporting, and cultural programmes on offer, meet the school management team, current learners, and some of the specialist educators from the school.
Hillcrest High School is a co-educational secondary school in Kwa-Zulu Natal that has served the local community for almost 50 years. The school offers a wide range of sport, cultural, and academic programmes, nurturing the holistic development of learners, and providing an environment in which learners can become the best they can be. From when, in Grade 8, new learners ring the school bell to signal their arrival, to the day they ring the bell at the end of Grade 12 to announce their departure, the growth and development of each learner is prioritised by the school community.
The school motto - "If it is to be, it is up to me!" fosters a sense of purpose, encouraging ownership and accountability.
