Monthly Stand-up Comedy Show running for more than 2 years.
Otherwise Comedy Nights is a Premium Stand-up Comedy showcase in the heart of the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town. Featuring the finest stand-up comedians from across South Africa and the world, hosted at a premium restaurant and cocktail bar Sí Cantina Socialé, in the famous Silo District of the Waterfront.
On Thursday 31st October 2024, we are having a star-studded night of stand-up comedy with three amazing acts! This month we feature Devin Gray, originally from South Africa having spent a couple of years in Singapore honing his talent. He is taking the international scene by storm having opened for Jeff Ross and Hannibal Buress at the prestigious Comedy Central International Festival. He has most recently come off a European tour and run of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, he is now back home to tell us all about it. We also feature the incredibly talented Q Dube, originally hailing from Zimbabwe. He well versed in the comedy scene and fresh off a tour of sold out shows in Zambia, Kenya and Tanzania. He was a feature act at the Laugh Africa Comedy Festival with his comedy special recently released on Showmax last month. Our host and beloved third act is our very own Vafa Naraghi. The man has had a rollercoaster year, having being crowned 2 X South African Comics Choice Winner, travelled to Los Angeles with Netflix, performed his one man show in Paris, France for the Olympics and most recently come off two sold out shows in Nairobi, Kenya. The man is unstoppable while keeping us glued to our phones with his hilarious content amassing millions of views on social media (handle @vafafrica). You don't wanna miss this show!
