A Piece of Us, an inspiring new contemporary rock circus performance from Zip Zap Circus, is an exploration of personal identity and collective power. Experience a dynamic journey where solitude and community intersect, revealing how individual growth and introspection contribute to the cohesion and strength of the collective.
Artists from the Dare2Dream programme – Zip Zap’s vocational programme, navigates through moments of reflection, delving into their personal experiences and unique journeys
The performance captures the tension and harmony between the self and others, using innovative choreography, visual storytelling, and rock music written for the show by Columbian-born musician, percussionist, and multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music producer, Andres Rodriguez Bravo. The handcrafted costumes are designed by world-renowned Cape Town-based South African designer, Gavin Rajah.
This cross-continental collaboration brings together the best of music, the finest craftsmanship, and the unique artistry of contemporary circus.
A Piece of Us mirrors the dynamism of South Africa and the spirit of Zip Zap Circus, where strength lies in diversity and unity. Celebrating individual uniqueness while underscoring how collective strength emerges from embracing those differences, it highlights how unity in diversity creates a resilient, vibrant community.

Can I bring my own food and drinks? Unfortunately, not. Zip Zap, to empower small businesses will have Food Trucks stationed around the venue for delicious food and drinks.
What payment options will you have available? This is a cash-free event – payment options are SnapScan or debit/credit cards.
Is there safe and secure parking? There is parking right outside the venue, but we urge you not to leave belongings in view of passers-by, and also to ensure that your doors are locked. Zip Zap is not liable for any theft or damage to vehicles.

1.1 The Terms of Use for Quicket are applicable for all orders and use of their website.
2. Refunds policy:
2.1 No refunds shall be permitted should Zip Zap postpone the show for any reason whatsoever. Every ticket holder will be contacted directly and given the opportunity to make a “donation”, or “defer to next show”. Once the ticket holder receives the document, the onus is on them to complete it within 5 days of receipt. Failure to do so will result in the ticket holder(s) purchase(s) being considered a donation to Zip Zap.
2.2 No refunds or deferrals will be permitted should the ticket holder not attend the show.
3. Privacy Policy:
3.1 Zip Zap will take reasonable measures to protect all data provided by ticket holders.
3.2 Zip Zap will ensure that this data is not used for any other purpose, or shared with or sold to any Third Party, unless written consent is provided by the ticket holder, as provided in these terms and conditions.
3.3 We are entitled to use or disclose any personal information if such use or disclosure is required to comply with any applicable law, subpoena, order of court or legal process served on us, or to protect and defend our rights or property. In the event of a fraudulent online payment, Zip Zap is entitled to disclose relevant personal information for criminal investigation purposes, or in line with any other legal obligation for disclosure of the personal information which may be required of it.
4. By entering the premises:
4.1 Ticket holders agree that they may be filmed/photographed as part of promotional content for A Piece of Us and Zip Zap Circus.
4.2 Ticket holders are aware that the A Piece of Us show uses strobe lights which could affect sensitive audience members.
4.3 Ticket holders are aware that there is loud music.
5. Professional camera equipment/selfie sticks will not be permitted on the premises.
6. Lineups, opening/closing times may change on the day.
7. The promoter and/or venue will not be held responsible for adverse weather conditions.
8. Ticket holders are responsible for their personal property at all times and should not leave their belongings unattended.
9. For invited guests – a guest list be available until venue capacity is reached.
10. Zip Zap reserves Right of Admission at the venue.
