ABOUT

MANA is a magical realist cross-genre music project, blending folkloric themes with the sounds of jazz, bossanova and samba. Female composer MANA leads a band of jazz musicians playing her original compositions influenced by a range of musical styles, experiences and languages. Their performances are characterised by ethereal, complex arrangements, virtuosic improvisation, magical realist storytelling and progressive visual oeuvre.
