Introduction:
We believe Philosophy is an innate attitude inherent in human beings. We aim to translate this attitude into actions that allow us to develop our full potential and improve our world. We propose a practical philosophy, useful for both individuals and society.
Every year, the centres of New Acropolis around the world respond to the call of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to celebrate World Philosophy Day, which has been taking place every November since 2002.
This year, we are happy to announce that New Acropolis in South Africa continues collaborating on the event with UNESCO South Africa with the welcomed addition of Constitution Hill.
Event Objectives:
- Roundtable discussion with diverse representatives from different fields covering the diferent aspects of the pyramid of society. The discussion will seek to identify which values can propel the nation, from 30 years of Freedom towards a South African renaissance.

- Art and the inspiration of Beauty
- Science and the search for Truth
- Tradition and the importance of Goodness
- Philosophy as the balancing common thread

We are living in a world full of challenges. Many of the youth are losing hope in their ability to see the possibility of change. This panel discussion is an opportunity to learn and dream of new solutions inspired by classical knowledge. This knowledge has been relevant for humanity for thousands of years. Join us in forming a collective for the creation of a better world.
We are looking forward to impacting the hearts and minds of key individuals who can implement value-based social change.
