Junk Journaling - An Introduction- Making a Journal

This is an introduction to junk journaling. We will discuss all the elements to junk Journaling that you need to

get started by making your own A5 Junk Journal. Please note that you are absolutely welcome to bring any of

your own items that you would like to add such as any special paper you would like or items to add to the book

cover.

This is the first in a series of workshops where in each class a different part of Journaling will be discussed in

depth. Exmples of future classes: labeling, sectionig, and making our own items through making silicone molds

as well as calligrapgy, to name a few.

What is provided:

• Different types of paper to chose from such as squares , lines, blank and cardstock
• Different materials for the book cover depending on your choice
• All tools necessary for cutting
• Items required for decorating your book cover such as paper, fabric etc ( a wide variety)
• Different materials to chose from for fastening the pages into a book
• Stencils
• Paints, khokis and coloring pencils, stamps with ink
• Calligraphy supplies
• Tea, coffee, water

What you take home:

• Your own junk journal that you have made from scratch
• Knowledge on how to start junk journaling
