Join us at Artwave this Christmas season for “Sketch & Cheer”—an all-day, drop-in drawing experience set against a delightful, holiday-inspired still-life display.

Spend the day creating your own artistic interpretation of a beautifully arranged scene filled with festive elements like holly wreaths, and ornaments. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or simply looking for a creative way to connect with friends, family, and new faces, “Sketch & Cheer” welcomes you to sit, sketch, and share the season's joy.

No experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to experiment! Cheers to nights of inspiration and fun!

You are welcome to donate your drawings to 1000 drawings for charity as well

What's Included:

• a whole day of sketching/creating
• A complimentary drink (nonalcoholic option available)
• Basic supplies basic supplies include: unlimited paper, board, colouring pencils, pencils, erasers & markers.

(you are welcome to bring your own drinks, snacks, a floor cushion & any extra art supplies)

When to arrive? – You can join in any time from 9 am to 5 pm!

What to bring? - Yourself! All required materials are provided.

What to wear? – Something comfortable!

About the Venue

This workshop is hosted in our studio at 44 Stanley near the Salvation Cafe entrance. The studio is on the 1st floor accessed through the stairs opposite Mr Vinyl shop

Please note that there are only stairs to this floor.

There is parking available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

When you purchase a ticket to a class/workshop, that secures your place and prevents someone else from purchasing those tickets. We expect all our events to sell out and as such, have a strict cancellation policy to ensure we aren’t experiencing a loss of income last minute.

• Cancellations with more than 14 days' notice: You can transfer yourself to a future class/workshop of your choice free of charge, or get a full refund for a fee specified by Quicket.
• Cancellations with more than 7 days notice: You can transfer yourself to a future class/workshop of your choice free of charge. No refunds.
• On the day or after the workshop: You won't be able to transfer yourself for a future date. No refunds.
• If someone in your group is ill or unable to attend, you may bring someone else in their place. As we have limited seating available, “no call, no shows” will not be refunded.
