Then join us for some fun in the sun at our Oppie Breede Boutique Floatie Festival, this December, Sun the 15th & Mon the 16th!!  (16th Dec is a public holiday)

BYOB, we are not licensed with will not have any alcohol vendors, kindly bring your own if you wish.

Day visitors please note:

Day visitors to please park at the top of the farm where there are parking signs, and then walk down to the river, follow the signs. No cars can be parked at the glampsite. The glampsite and river is only about 400m away from the parking at the top of the farm.

THE GAIA SANCTUARY - PET OWNERS:

Our pet rate is R50/ night for glamping and R30/ night for camping.

Pets have to receive prior approval before arriving at the Gaia Sanctuary Pty Ltd.

Pets have to be well trained, socialised, and inoculated against rabies.

Please declare if your pets have not been neutered/ spade.

Pet owners are responsible to clean up after your pets.

No animal may be brought onto the Gaia Pty Ltd property without permission.

Visitors to The Gaia Sanctuary Pty Ltd with pets shall accept and acknowledge personal responsibility and liability for any injury or damage caused as a result of the wrongful or aggressive behaviour of their dog, whether the loss occurs as a result of biting, jumping, scratching, digging, wondering off, charging or any other behaviour. You waive any and all rights that to institute legal proceedings to recover cost of any kind.

DIRECTIONS:

We are on GOOGLE MAPS, type in The Gaia Sanctuary, and it will bring you to our front gate (do NOT use Apple maps). 

Once inside the farm please follow the signs to the parking if you are a day visitor, or follow the signs to the glampsite if you are staying overnight.

DISCLAIMER & INDEMNITY:

By purchasing this ticket, you are hereby agreeing to the below Indemnity terms:

1. General Indemnity

1.1. I, the undersigned ticket holder, hereby acknowledge that I enter The Gaia Sanctuary ("The Property"), its campsite, glampsite, and associated facilities, and participate in any events or activities, including the Oppie Breede Floatie Festival ("The Event"), entirely at my own risk.

1.2. I indemnify and hold harmless The Gaia Sanctuary PTY Ltd, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from injury, loss, or harm to myself, my children, or my property while on The Property or during The Event.

1.3. I confirm that I understand and accept that The Company takes no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses caused by:

·      River activities, including swimming, floating, canoeing, rope swinging, or any water-related activity.

·      The use of facilities, equipment, or property.

·      The actions of other attendees or participants.

·      Natural conditions or events, including weather, wildlife, or environmental hazards.

2. Supervision of Minors

2.1. Parents, guardians, or responsible adults are fully liable and responsible for the supervision, conduct, and safety of their children or dependents while on The Property or participating in The Event.

2.2. Children must be supervised at all times, particularly in and around the river. It is the sole responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure their children adhere to safety precautions and behave responsibly.

2.3. The Company and its representatives are not responsible for supervising children or ensuring their safety. Any failure to supervise children or dependents appropriately is entirely the liability of the parent or guardian.

3. Assumption of Risk

3.1. I acknowledge that activities on The Property, including river activities and participation in The Event, carry inherent risks, including but not limited to drowning, slipping, falling, injury from equipment or other participants, and exposure to natural hazards.

3.2. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with entering The Property, using its facilities, and participating in activities or events.

3.3. I agree that I will not hold The Company liable for any injuries, damages, or losses caused by reckless, foolish, or negligent actions on my part or that of others.
