Internationally acclaimed saxophonist Andrew Young will soon embark on his Coast to Coast South African Tour, covering 8,000 kilometers from Paternoster to Durban. Audiences can look forward to an exciting new program, enriched by the talents of three gifted pianists: Tony Drake in the Cape and Garden Route, Boet Strydom in the Eastern Cape, and Shem Mahabeer in KwaZulu-Natal, each adding a unique layer of musical brilliance.

Inspired by his extensive world tours, Andrew’s latest performance features “Rockin’ All Over the World” as a central influence. Through his music, he shares intimate stories of his travels, taking listeners from the bustling streets of China to the vibrant rhythms of the Caribbean, the lively beats of South America, and the scenic landscapes of Europe.

Tour highlights include performances of Get Back, Andrew Young's internationally acclaimed show celebrating the music of the Beatles and other artists from his hometown of Liverpool. Fans in Stellenbosch can look forward to a special Rhythm & Blues performance at the Drostdy Theatre. Additionally, Durban audiences will enjoy an intimate evening featuring soulful saxophone melodies, fine wine, and gourmet cuisine. Finally, whilst in Durban, Andrew Young will showcase his show Sounds of the 70s.

Whether it’s soulful saxophone solos or dynamic ensemble pieces, expect a concert filled with passion, adventure, and global sounds.
