ABOUT

Old Dogs band is a three-piece Folk-Rock band, based in Cape Town, South Africa, Comprising; Bill Knight (Guitars and vocals), Derek Craig (Drums and Vocals), and Jeremy Stephenson (Bass Guitar and Vocals). 

Their breakout album, “In Full Cry”, continues to delight fans and reviewers alike.

All their Songs are written by Bill Knight in his characteristic “Kaapse Mengsel/ Skollie Rock” style. A mixed bag of Influences: Folk, Rock, Blues, Mbaquanga, Maskandi, Reggae, Kaaps, Tamatie.. and a good helping of attitude!

Their new Album, “Howling Again”, published by Shoreline Songs, was released on 29 November 2023 to an ecstatic capacity crowd at café Roux.

“In Full Cry”, produced by Robin Auld and Shoreline Songs is available directly from the band, and on download on Bandcamp.

BOOKING NOTES

• If you can’t get the table configuration you want and end up booking seats on different tables as a result, please do so under the same email address and we’ll automatically put you together on one table. In fact, any seats booked under the same email address we will assume are together and arrange seating at one table. If this is not the case, however, or if you are booking with friends under different email addresses, just let us know and we’ll make a plan to seat you together. If the event appears sold-out, or you want to add to an existing booking, the same applies - just drop us an email to [email protected] and we’ll do our best to make a plan!
